These small dishes are wheel-thrown and left with the visible swirl of the wheel at their centre, marking the making process. The lightly grogged clay gives the surface a subtle texture, with the rim and base showing the character of the clay body beneath the glaze. Each piece is finished in one of several glaze variations, with natural differences in surface and depth created during firing. Suitable for a range of uses, they work well as side plates, soap dishes, pet dishes, or small utility bowls around the home.
