The Erosion Series is a collection of sculptural vases shaped on the wheel and altered by hand. Each form carries gentle movement through a waved rim and softened silhouette, giving the pieces a sense of quiet motion. The surfaces are intentionally worked to create depth and variation, with textures that echo weathered stone and natural wear.
Made from stoneware and finished in a range of glazes, no two vases are the same. Subtle shifts in colour, tone and surface emerge through the making and firing process, highlighting the material and the marks left behind. These pieces can be used functionally or held as sculptural objects, sitting comfortably between utility and art.
Each vase is individually made and embraces irregularity, texture and restraint, celebrating clay in its altered and imperfect state.
